Exceptional, WWII Army Infantry, Crossed Rifles, Brass and Khaki Enamel, Officer's Cap Photo Locket, Sweetheart Home Front Military brooch.
Measuring 1 1/2" x 1 5/8" x 3/4" deep with a secure rollover clasp.
Base is constructed of Brass Metal in the shape of a US Military Officer's Hat. Khaki enamel is on the cap upper section, with polished brass on the bill and cap braid.
A US Army Crossed Rifle Infantry Insignia is on top, and an Army Eagle insignia is on the front of the hat.
Brooch opens to show an Army Soldier and his Sweetheart/Wife. What stories this vintage locket could tell!
